Zach Benkowski is a graduate of the University of Illinois at Urbana-Champaign and Lake Michigan College in Benton Harbor, Michigan. He is proud to have been a member of the U of I jazz a cappella group No Strings Attached, and the University of Illinois Concert Choir. He currently works as a Crew Member at Trader Joe's in Lincoln Park.

Zach's musical background is primarily in percussion. He has been drummer and vocalist in various rock bands, including Piston Hurricane, There is a World, and Post Historic. Currently Zach is drummer for the epic punk band The Western Cannon and a piano/drum duo called Ben and Zach. Zach is also an avid solo songwriter.
