Meredith McGuire's experience in music is extensive. Originally an instrumentalist, she received a Bachelor of Music degree in Music Education from Northern Illinois University. During that time, she was the lead vocalist for NIU's touring Jazz Ensemble, co-director of the DeKalb High School Jazz Choir, and recorded back-up vocals on over 100 songs for Non-Linear Records.

Currently, Meredith is the choir director at Oak Lawn Community High School.
