K. Lamont Lambert received a Bachelor of Arts in Music Education from Elmhurst College in 1998. In 2005, he received his Master's degree in Vocal Music Education from Northern Illinois University. He currently teaches vocal music at Gary Jewel Middle School in North Aurora. Lamont also performs with Six Voices and a Piano, which is based in St. Charles, IL.

Lamont's previous musical experience includes numerous musical theatre roles, Voices 2 Go, an a cappella vocal ensemble, and operatic work at the Shea Theatre in Buffalo, NY in 1990.

Lamont is married to his wife Heather, and they have an adorable daughter. Aside from music, Lamont also enjoys coaching middle school football.
