Chris Moan is currently a member of the Chicago Symphony Chorus, the Choral Sounds of Chicago, and, of course, the a cappella group An Octave Above. He has also been seen around Chicago performing theatrically with the Buffalo Theatre Ensemble, The Beverly Arts Center, and as the stage director for the touring children’s production, Frog the Musical. In addition to performing, he has taught voice lessons at various suburban schools.

Chris received his B. A. in Music from Luther College in Decorah, IA, and is a member of the American Guild of Musical Artists. He is currently pursuing his Master’s degree in Music Education at VanderCook College of Music.

Chris is married to his wife, Joanne, and they have a daughter, Evelyn, and a son, Soren.
